Banco do Brasil Profits R$ 17B in 2019

Banco do Brasil posted an adjusted net income of R$ 17.848 billion - up 32.1% compared to 2018, of R$ 13.513 billion. In the fourth quarter alone, the bank obtained adjusted net income of R$ 4.625 billion, a result 20.3% higher than that obtained by the institution in the same period a year earlier. Compared to the third quarter, growth was 1.8%. Tariff rents increased 3.8% in the year to R$ 7.508 billion in the quarter ended December. Administrative expenses, in turn, totaled R$ 8.611 billion, an increase of 8.7%.
