Health and FOOD PRESS and IPC-S ACCELERATES HIGH to 0.34% in April, SHOWS FGV

Sao Paulo-the Weekly consumer price index (CPI-S) accelerated high to 0,34% in April, of 0,17% in the previous month, in the face of sharply higher prices for health-related and pressed by the advancement of food. The data released on Wednesday by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) showed slightly higher pressure still in relation to the advancement of 0,32% seen in the third quadrissemana of the month. In April, prices in the group health and personal care 1,12% rose, compared with 0,42% in March, movement driven by medicinal item. Also highlighted the progress of 0,34% in power prices in April, after having retreated 0, 2% the previous month.
