Confidence in consumer electronics hits record in November

The entrepreneur confidence index (ICEI) Electronics sector reached 65.2 points in November 2018, registering 11.4 points above the result pointed to in October (53.8 points) and 5.7 points higher than registered in November of the year past (59.5 points). That's what the survey showed Brazilian Association of electrical and Electronics Industry (Abinee) based on data from the National Confederation of industry (CNI). The improvement of the ICEI has occurred both in the electric area, which rose from 51.2 to 63.1 points, as in the electronic area, which increased from 56.7 to 67.5 points, compared to the immediately preceding month. In this way, the sector FETCHED UP remained above the line of 50 points for the fourth consecutive month. The index ranges from 0 to 100 points, with values above 50 points indicates confidence of industrialist and below 50 points shows lack of confidence. "The positive result demonstrates a clear improvement in mood of the entrepreneur in our industry," says the President of Abinee, Humberto Barbato.
