During the last Black Friday, on 24 November, the retail supermarket sales grew 2.6% as compared to the same period in 2016, according to a survey conducted by Agentrics. The number of products sold was 12 times higher when compared to the previous week, as in the case of whiskey.

Sales of products of the so-called Brown line – which includes televisions, sound and video-increased four times, while the white line – which includes refrigerators, stoves and microwaves – grew three times and the vodka, twice.

According to the Vice President of operations of the Agentrics, Robson Munhoz, the success of Black Friday this year is due to actions taken in physical retail. All this has contributed to a good result, "explains the Executive.
