Grain market takes up volume growth in Brazil

In spite of the economic crisis have affected the consumption of many homes, a study conducted by Kantar Worldpanel: consumer points out that the cereal market resumed growth in 2015, registering a high of 4 percent in volume over the previous year. However, the value was below inflation.
According to the survey, consumption growth is driven by new buyers, especially in the Northeast region (more than 600 1000) and the State of São Paulo (State of São Paulo, more than 220 1000; Greater São Paulo; more than 170 thousand). Among the products that contributed most to the industry were heating the starches and cereals for children, and in the case of the latter, 8:00 pm every 10 homes in the Northeast region bought the category in 2015.
