Price index Inflation slows down in the supermarkets of SP

The supermarket price index, calculated by the APAS/FIPE recorded fall of 0.18% in August, also with an accumulated elevation, from January to August, 5.90%. During the period, there was a deceleration mainly of fresh products, according to the greater supply of products, improved weather and the harvest period of some products. The result, although positive, does not animates the supermarket sector. "The fall should be bigger to impact the indicator in 12 months, which already reaches 9.20%.
