Children's day has the worst performance in five years

-The volume of sales in the long term in the Brazilian trade recorded fall of 1.5%, in the week preceding the Day of the child between 5 and 11 October, compared to the same period in 2013.
This was the worst performance in the sector over the past five years, as pointed out by a survey of the National Confederation of Shopkeepers (CNDL) and credit protection service (SPC Brazil).
According to the survey, last year the sector had registered growth of 3.15%, as well as in 2012, when the high was 4.83 percent.
To the CNDL President, Roque Junior Pellizzaro, the result is the result of the poor performance of the Brazilian economy, which has discouraged the term consumption. "Consumers are more concerned with not jeopardizing the budget itself with purchases splitted, why this year there was a redirect to the cheaper gifts and generally paid to vista," he explained.
Growth
Against the result, national data da Boa Vista SCPC (credit protection services) showed that sales in trade for the children's day grew by 1.8% in the same period last year, when the increase was 3.4%, compared to 2012.
The institution also related the poor performance of the economy, as one of the factors that led to the retraction. "The labor market desaquecido and the greatest caution in relation to credit influenced on purchases," said in a note to Boa Vista. /Da Essay
