Vehicle sales up 31% in July, says Fenabrave

The sale of vehicles rose 31.3% in July in Brazil, reported the association of dealerships, Fenabrave, on Tuesday (4). There were 174,498 cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses plated in the month, compared to 132,826 in June.
Compared to July 2019, however, there was a drop of 28.3%. A year earlier the sector reached 243,599 units that month.
The accumulated reached 983,254 units in the current year, which represents a decrease of 36.6% compared to the same period of 2019. From January to July 2019, dealerships sold 1,551,709 vehicles.
