Plantplus Foods

The joint venture between Marfrig and ADM to operate in the vegetable protein market, as published by The Giro News newspaper in May, was approved by the General Superintendence of the Administrative Council of Economic Defense (Cade).
With the partnership between the companies, Plantplus Foods was created, plant-based products.
The new company, based in Chicago, USA, will be an extension of a partnership realized in 2019.
In Brazil, the vegetable hamburger will continue to be produced at the Mato Grosso do Sul plant.
