Investment of R$ 790 million

Frimesa, the food industry, intends to invest r$ 790 million. The amount includes the inauguration of a new pig slaughter plant and the expansion of four other industrial plants.
By 2022, the company plans to complete the first phase of the construction of the new industrial plant for slaughter in Assis Chateaubriand in western Paraná. Initially the capacity is 7,500 pigs per day with investments of R$ 700 million. By 2030, the company hopes to finalize the project with a plant for slaughtering 15,000 pigs/day.
Frimesa's other pig slaughter plants, located in Medianeira and Marechal Candido Rondon, will also receive investments to adapt and expand processes that seek to meet the demands of the domestic and foreign market. The estimated value of investments is R$ 59 million invested by the end of 2020.
To serve the dairy market, the two main milk industries located in Matelândia and Marechal Cândido Rondon will have their processes adequate to process 1 million liters of milk per day by July 2021.
These are projects and strategies aimed at growth with the proposal of reaching a turnover of R$ 4 billion in 2020.
