Group starts conversion

The Carrefour Brasil Group announces the completion of its commercial partnership with the Super Nosso Group.
With the operation, 16 stores of the Carrefour Bairro format, in the capital of Minas Gerais Belo Horizonte, will gradually operate under the Super Nosso banner. The agreement does not provide for changes in the capital structure of companies.
"The Carrefour Brasil Group intends to capture several operational improvements and synergies, resulting in a significant increase in the sales and profitability of the 16 stores," the company said in a statement.
The partnership, announced in November 2019, received approval from the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) in January.
With the administration of the new supermarkets, Super Nosso will raise the number of stores operating under its banner to 49
