Camargo Embalagens expands operations in the cosmetics market

Recognized for more than two decades producing packaging for all segments of the economy, with emphasis on food, Camargo Cia de Embalagens now expands its operations to the cosmetics industry with packaging options that aim to add greater value and environmental awareness to brands, with varied possibilities of combinations of films and structures according to the needs of customers.
As the Company's Director, Felipe Toledo, explains, the demand for solutions that are friendly to the environment has grown considerably, and for this reason, Camargo has developed an option for the cosmetics market, which has a high perception of value and demand on the part of consumers.
"We believe that bringing the theme of sustainability to this market generates additional value to brands," he says.
Camargo is working with sustainable films with several characteristics: made with percentage of recycled PET bottles, with renewable sources (sugarcane), compostable and biodegradable films, among others, with structures that can be produced in coils or in preforms made in the house, delivered ready for packaging.
Among the clients already served by Camargo in this segment are L'occitane, Delly Kosmetic, Bonyplus, New Face, among others, but the idea is to expand the volume still in 2020.
"We have the productive capacity and technical knowledge to serve the cosmetics market with sustainable packaging, because we know that the industry is also looking for better alternatives to reduce the impact on the environment."
In addition to reducing the environmental impact, packaging has to ensure product protection during distribution and storage, and that is the big challenge: to create a technical packaging that maintains product protection and also reduces environmental impact.
"However, we cannot stand by waiting for the "perfect solution", and our commitment is to evolve with the market, always offering what is new in relation to sustainability, and combining its concept with internal processes with low pollutant emissions", he concludes.
