Printgreen, a manufacturer of filaments for 3D printing from recycled, expands its line. The company entered the market in March last year, when it began marketing filaments made of ABS in gray and black colors. At the beginning of the year began to offer the product also in the colors red, purple, blue, white and green. "By the end of the year we intend to launch polypropylene filaments and by mid-next year those made with PET and PLA, all manufactured with recycled materials," says Willian Toledo Lima, founder and CEO of the company.
Printgreen was born from an idea that emerged five years ago. "I was a user of 3D printing, while performing work in the garage I realized that the use of filaments produced from recycled materials could become a great option for consumers," lima says.
The project went ahead with the support of Fapesp (São Paulo State Research Support Foundation) and has been very promising. "We have been sought after by large industries, such as automakers, for example. We recently acquired a client that is a startup of Ambev", boasts the founder.
