Stella Artois wins gluten-free version

Ambev launches Stella Artois Gluten-Free beer. According to the manufacturer, the new version tastes identical to that of traditional Stella, but with the benefit of being gluten-free, a protein to which many people have some kind of restriction.
The novelty seeks to elevate the experience of the public while following trends in consumption and behavior. "We often say that Stella is a sophisticatedly simple brand, because we think of the little details to make every moment special. Consumers want to have more and more choice options and our role is to bring this, understanding these needs and creating new revenues," says Bruna Buás, Marketing Director of Stella Artois in Brazil.
"We were able to reach a gluten-free version of this pure malt beer by applying a technology in the production process, which helped us preserve the flavor and all the characteristics of the original version so that the beverage is considered a gluten-free product according to Brazilian legislation," says Alexandre Levy, ambev's master brewer and one of the people responsible for the innovation.
The packaging of the new beer is the same as the traditional Stella Artois: green glass bottle. What changes is label, which gained golden background, same color neck and six pack of cardboard paper.
Stella Artois Sem Gluten can now be found at the points of sale of Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. In August it will arrive in São Paulo and, still in 2020, in other regions of Brazil.
