Revenue data show that June was the month with the highest issuance of invoices

Data from the Internal Revenue Service issuing invoices indicate an economic recovery as early as June.
The figures, brought on Sunday by the newspaper "O Estado de S.Paulo" on Sunday (9) and released by revenue on Monday (10), show that June had the highest level in invoice issues of the year, reaching R$ 23.9 billion in sales per day, which is a 10% increase over June 2019.
Government economic sources had already indicated that the bottom line of the effects of the pandemic on the economy was in the last two weeks of April and early May.
The movement made by card machines also demonstrates a recovery, according to data pointed out by economists who study the subject.
An interesting fact is the impact of emergency aid of R$ 600 on household consumption. Of the approximately R$ 150 billion already injected into the economy, about 30% returned to the government in the form of taxes.
With the extension of the aid for two more installments, there is still R$ 100 billion to be injected. The emergency aid, paid by the government, was created to help informal workers who were economically affected by the pandemic.
