Heineken 0.0 hits the Brazilian market

Announced at the end of last year by the Heineken Group in Brazil, Heineken 0.0, zero alcohol version of the premium beer brand, officially reaches the Brazilian market.
Aiming to lead the category of non-alcoholic beers proposing new occasions for consumption, Heineken 0.0 is aimed at people who enjoy beer, but not necessarily the effects of alcohol at certain times of the day.
Now it is possible to taste a zero alcohol beer and flavored Heineken quality at lunchtime, during work, before driving and even after physical activities. In addition, the novelty contains only 69 calories per long neck – half the caloric value of the original Heineken.
Created in 2017 in the Netherlands, after several years of research and testing to arrive at a recipe with quality flavor and zero alcohol, Heineken 0.0 is composed only of natural ingredients and produced with the exclusive yeast A, just like the original Heineken.
The novelty will be available initially in partner points of sale throughout the state of São Paulo from the first half of July.
Heineken 0.0 will have national production at the Heineken Group plant in Ponta Grossa (PR), and will maintain the same revenue already consolidated in more than 50 countries worldwide, such as the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Russia. The launch will feature a price strategy similar to the original Heineken.
Refreshing and full-bodied to the right extent, Heineken 0.0 will arrive in the Brazilian market keeping the iconic green packaging, traditional color associated with the original Heineken bottle, but accompanied by a blue label – color associated with the alcohol-free category in the Heineken Group – and can be found in the options of long neck bottles (330ml) and cans (350ml).
