Unilever announces Omo laundry network

Unilever announced the launch of Omo Lavanderia. The new network offers specialized industry services and will operate in a franchise model. The format is born from the acquisition of the operations of the Acerte Group, traditional of the branch. The novelty also expands the offer of services under the Omo brand, which already has the Easy Pass and Shared Laundry – focused on residential condominiums. In addition to the clothes, the service will include possibilities such as cleaning for the sofa, baby trousseau, wedding dresses, rugs and curtains. The network will be responsible for four consumer-oriented fronts: Specialized laundry; Laundry Express; Self-service laundry; and Omo Costura. According to a company statement, the technology will be one of the pillars of the network, offering follow-up options and transactions through the Omo Lavanderias application. All stores will also be stocked with Unilever products for the segment – the Omo and Comfort brands.
