One of the largest manufacturers of cardboard in the country, Papirus launches its special lines Vitacopo, Vitabarr and Vitafreezer, aimed at the manufacture of trays and food and beverage packaging for the segments of cups, delivery, fast food and frozen food. With differentiated products, which have extruded coating or with recyclable and biodegradable vegetable resin, which guarantee extra protection against moisture to packaging and cardboard trays, Papirus has recorded significant sales growth of these products since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Other factors that have driven their sales are the emergence of new food brands, the trend of consumption of vegan products and the growing demand for frozen food. "Food purchases over the Internet, by phone and applications have grown exponentially with the social isolation imposed by Covid-19, and have boosted the sale of our products to these segments due to the quality and differentials of our cardboard," says Amando Varella, Papirus' Commercial and Marketing Director, noting that the company offers different products for these segments.
