Covid-19: Caoa automaker resumes production at Anápolis plant

Caoa resumed production at the Anápolis (GO) plant this week after face-to-face activities were halted on March 23 due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus. For this return, the automaker adopted strict prevention measures, according to the guidelines of health entities. "From the outset, Caoa was 100% committed to containing the spread of Covid-19, following the recommendations of the Ministry of Health. We work together with our suppliers seeking to minimize impacts on our production chain and obeying all protocols established by the government. Among the new protocols is also the measurement of the temperature before the access of employees to the factory and the daily delivery of protective masks, one for each part of the journey, with specifications recommended by Anvisa and the reinforcement in communication with employees, who will receive constant guidance on safety. The main spaces of concentration and access to the Anápolis unit received demarcations so that the necessary minimum distance can be maintained; in addition, to meet health, hygiene and safety recommendations, gel alcohol was made available, strategically distributed throughout the factory. Other measures were also taken with the reinforcement in the hygiene of common areas and the readjustment in the operations of the company's restaurant to ensure the minimum distance between each employee during meals, for this there was the expansion of the number of spaces used as cafeterias, new layout in the distribution of tables and chairs, in addition to the installation of dividing plates on the tables , also promoting at this time, greater security to users.
