Contribution of R$ 45 Million

The Muffato Group will invest about R$ 45 million in the construction of its fourth unit in São José do Rio Preto, a municipality in the interior of São Paulo. With the Super Muffato flag, the store will be located in the Damha Residential Park neighborhood, on Nelson Sinibaldi Street, and will generate 420 direct and indirect jobs. Expected to open between October and November this year, the hypermarket will have more than 13,000 m² of built area, 3,800 m² of sales and parking area with 266 spaces, 115 of which are covered. The space will sell 40,000 items, especially the winery, and will have 15 support stores, such as gym, pharmacy and pet shop. According to the network, the store will be part of the new generation, focused on the omnichannel shopping experience. In São José do Rio Preto, the Group has a Super Muffato in the Jardim Maracanã neighborhood and two max wholesaler operations in Jardim Seyon and Quinta das Paineiras Park. Next week, the company will inaugurate a Wholesale Max in Catanduva (SP). The region of the interior of São Paulo should have, by the end of the year, 12 operations of the Group.
