Muffato Invests 60 Million

Located in the Santa Felicidade neighborhood, the supermarket received investments of R$ 60 million and follows a new concept, focused on technology and "farm-to-table" (from the field to the table), says the network. With the Super Muffato flag, the unit occupies 14,000 m², with 4,000 m² of sales area and 350 covered parking spaces. The store has bakery, delicatessen, sushi kiosks, pamonharia, meats in dry aged system, wine cellar with sommelier, section "Healthy" with five corridors and nutritionist, cafeteria, space for rest, free wi-fi and shopping mall. There will be no opening ceremony. According to the network, the concept store aims to integrate the online channels and the shopping experience of the physical store. The branch has delivery, auto-cash system, dynamic auto-cashier (in which the customer has autonomy at the time of payment), shop & go (for purchase in-store with mobile phone use, without cash intermediation) and click and collect (in which the consumer buys online and receives the products at home or withdraws in the store). The Muffato Group also announces the launch of its virtual assistant, called "Maia", aimed at shopping by WhatsApp. Through artificial intelligence, the solution performs the entire process of in-app purchases.
