Industry and Points of Sale extend length of stay of Easter products

The situation caused by the advance of coronavirus (Covid 19) in Brazil requires responsibility and mutual collaboration of all, especially with regard to the social isolation recommended by public health authorities. Based on this scenario, the chocolate industries, represented by the Brazilian Association of the Chocolate, Peanut and Candy Industry (Abicab), and the supermarket sector, represented by the Brazilian Supermarket Association (Abras), chose to extend the length of stay of Easter products at points of sale throughout Brazil until April 30. The industry and sales channels will ensure the permanence of the products for longer period so that consumers who have not been able to access the items until the holiday can do so quietly and safely. Abicab and Abras are also launching the second stage of the #VaiterPáscoa campaign, created by nbs agency, to inform consumers about the shelf life of products at points of sale, with actions on social networks and also in supermarkets and stores. We are ensuring access for longer to the products to enable behaviors so characteristic of the celebration of Brazilian Easter, such as the act of gifting easter eggs and chocolates, can happen as soon as possible and safe to be together again.
