Flow Grows and Sector Has Replacement Problem

The Brazilian supermarket sector operates normally and there is no risk of lack of food in stores, according to the Brazilian Supermarket Association (Abras). According to the entity, due to Coronavirus (Covid-19), no problem of shortages was identified, but replacement, due to the greater number of customers in some stores, especially over the weekend. The episode focused more on supermarkets in são Paulo and in neighborhoods of classes A and B. According to Abras, the most purchased products in recent days were pasta, tomato sauce, olive oil, salt, wafer, sugar, coffee, milk, water and cleaning products and hygiene, with emphasis on toilet paper and alcohol gel.
