Pork Exports Increases 41.5%

Fresh pork exports grew by 41.5% in January this year compared to the same month in 2019. In the period, there were 59,300 tons shipped, a value corresponding to a daily average of 2,700 tons, compared to 41,900 tons in January last year. Compared to December, there was a drop of 14.2%, with 65,900 tons last month and a daily average of 3,100 tons shipped. In January, exports reached $14.430 billion and imports totaled $16.175 billion.
