Latam Brazil closes flight sharing agreement with Delta

Latam Airlines Brasil has signed a codeshare agreement with Delta Airlines, expected to enter into force in the first half of 2020. The agreement is subject to the approval of regulatory bodies. Latam Airlines Group has already entered into codeshare agreements with Delta and subsidiaries Latam Peru, Latam Colombia and Latam Ecuador. Latam Airlines Brasil has signed a codeshare agreement with Delta Airlines, expected to enter into force in the first half of 2020. The agreement is subject to the approval of regulatory bodies. Latam Airlines Group has already entered into codeshare agreements with Delta and subsidiaries Latam Peru, Latam Colombia and Latam Ecuador. Delta passengers can also purchase codeshare tickets with Latam affiliates in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia to 51 destinations in South America. The codeshare agreements are part of Delta's 20% latam purchase operation, announced in September last year. The deal with Latam Chile's operation remains to be closed. Latam and Delta also said they signed a bilateral agreement thursday to share the benefits of mileage programs for customers of both companies. Thus, Latam Pass customers will be able to earn and redeem points on Delta flights to more than 300 destinations worldwide, and Delta Skymiles will be able to accumulate and redeem points on Latam flights to 145 destinations in 26 countries on five continents.
