Agreement facilitates importation of Chilean wines

An agreement on the equivalence of organic products, carried out between Brazil and Chile, should simplify the importation of organic wines by distributors, importers and stores. The measure establishes that Chile recognizes Brazil's certification systems for organic products and that the Brazilian market has the same initiative as the goods of the South American country for the control of organic production. Signed in September 2018, the memorandum includes fresh and processed plant products of plant origin, including wines, and became effective in April of this year.
