With migration of Brazilians to the U.S., exchange operations jump at B&T Global

B&T Global, the B&T Group's Miami arm, saw the number of foreign exchange operations jump in the wake of the growth of Migration of Brazilians to the United States. The projection for this year is that B&T Global's commercial exchange operations will reach $4.7 million, and rise to $5.8 million next year. Transfers made in remittance partnerships are expected to close the year at $56.1 million, and nearly triple to $157.1 million in 2020. The group's first unit outside Brazil, located in Miami, began operating last year to meet the growing demand of its customers for services in Florida and in search of companies that needed a base in the United States for exports and imports from Brazil.
