Wholesale Distributor Grows 1.95% in October

The wholesale distributor began the last quarter of this year with positive performance. In October, revenuegrew 1.95% in nominal terms compared to the same month in 2018. In the year- year-to-date, from January to October, the result was higher at 1.19% compared to the same period last year, maintaining the sector's expectation of ending 2019 with a rise between 1% and 2%. The data are from the Brazilian Association of Wholesalers and Distributors, determined by ABAD/FIA (Foundation Institute of Administration). In deflated terms, the survey showed an improvement compared to October and September, when it was up 7.85%. Compared to October 2018, there was a drop of -0.57%.
