Law Alteradisclosure of Discounts in Commerce

In the state of Rio de Janeiro, a law was sanctioned that determines that retailers disclose, in the tax coupon, the discount amounts offered to consumers individually. Valid for supermarket chains and commercial establishments, the legislation provides that the offer should appear below the product, making it forbidden to compile the total amount saved only at the end of the tax coupon. State law will still be regulated by the executive branch and, after this stage, consumer protection agencies will be able to fine establishments that fail to comply with the rule.
