Elgin takes over Bematech hardware operations in Brazil

Founded in 1952, Elgin has just taken over Bematech's operations in Brazil. The company has already hit the hammer and the mark will be maintained. The acquisition, for R$ 25 million, was made in May, but only now approved by the Administrative Council of Economic Defense (Cade). The antitrust body recorded delays in its trials this year as it spent a long period with four vacant seats. This is Elgie's second acquisition in less than a year.
