350ml Maniacs IPA Beer Grows 122% in 2019

Following the growth in sales of canned beers in the domestic market, the 350ml IPA of the curibana maniacs brewery, the company's flagship, was no different and recorded a 122% increase in 2019, compared to the previous year. "She is now responsible for 30% of our sales and, with canned bottling, had approximately 12% of its reduced production cost (compared to the bottle). We have around 20 SKUs in wide distribution. The canned IPA Maniacs was launched in 2016. Distribution and Projection The manufacturer caters directly to major national supermarket chains and most regional chains in the South and Southeast. "In the North, Northeast and Midwest we have some networks already registered and we are evolving well our presence in the off-trade channel (shops). In the on-trade channel (bars/restaurants) we directly serve with our own staff the capitals of Paraná, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro", explains Mendes. In 2019, the brewery is growing 40%, compared to the previous year. For the next five years, the goal is to evolve double digits per year, with a large participation of cans in this result.
