ABComm Conquest injunction against the postal rate increase

The Brazilian Association of Commerce (ABComm) obtained a court injunction that limits the adjustment in the rates that are being practiced by via Courier and PAC. Under penalty of a daily fine of R $50000 a day, if breached, the post office will have to limit the adjustment in tariffs to a maximum of 8%. The company had announced in March the price table adjustment-high varied up to 51%. In addition to the limited adjustment, following the evolution of brazilian inflation in 2017, the entity requesting the suspension of the collection of the surcharge by region (R $3) and extra value for products that are not "squares" (R $20).
