Mergers and acquisitions have high of 26% by September

The deals involving mergers and acquisitions totaled R $121.4 billion by the end of the third quarter. The volume represents 26% advance in comparison with the same period of 2017, according to the statistics of Anbima (Brazilian Association of financial and capital markets). Among the sectors that most influenced the result are: pulp and paper, with 39.3% share among all business, it and telecommunications (15.5%) and food and beverages (12.7%). "The growth reflects the large operations carried out in the year, in addition to the acquisitions of foreign companies by" explains Anbima, in a note.
