Volume exported by Brazil dairy fell 37.7% in July

Dairy exports by Brazil, according to the Ministry of industry, Trade and services, amounted to $ $6,06 million in July. In comparison with the previous month, turnover reduced 56.7%. The volume shipped also had a fall. Went from 3600 tonnes in June this year to 2320 tons in July, a decline of 35.3%. The most exported product was powdered milk, which accounted for 48.5% of the total volume of dairy products shipped. The main buyers of Brazilian dairy, in July, in value, were the Philippines with 20.4%, Argentina with 8.9% and Paraguay with 8.8%. In comparison with the same period last year, the volume and revenues relating to Brazilian exports reduced 37.7% and 49.0%, respectively.
