P&G increases production of diapers

The P&G has invested 500 million R$ to increase the productive capacity of your factory of Louveira (SP). The contributions were for a few lines of diapers and SOAP. The plant has doubled in size and has reached 140,000 m ².
The machines work as if they were printers, except in place of ink on paper, is absorbent material in diapers. The company will gradually change diapers made by other methods for these. Intimate absorbers should be produced with the same technology.
On the shelves, the news will arrive for higher value than the old. The company does not believe it will be a problem. Although Brazil is in crisis, P&G''s strategy is not to enter into fierce dispute by price, says Gianni Ciserani, global President of the sectors of textiles and cleaning materials.
"The country is one of the top five where the products will be available." The diapers must appear in Latin America''s neighbors shortly after, because what is manufactured here is sold there. The multinational will inaugurate an Innovation Center in the same city, which had 150 million contribution of R$.
