Sales of medicines grow 13.5 percent in August, says Abradilan

In August this year, the pharmaceutical market in Brazil showed revenues of R $13.950 billion, an increase of 13.5% over the same month of 2016, when the amount was R $12.3 billion, according to data established at the request of the Brazilian Association of Distribution and logistics Pharmaceutical products (Abradilan), an organization that brings together distributors.
Were sold in the month of 986 million units in the period, up 4.5% in volume of medicines in relation to same month of 2016.
Considering only the sales made by distributors, the amount totaled R $9.620 billion in August this year, an increase of 12.9% compared to the previous year.
