Merchants Start 2017 less confident

According to the National Confederation of trade in goods, services and tourism (CNC), the entrepreneur confidence index of Commerce (Icec) retreated 2.3 percent in January compared to December, compared with seasonal adjustment. On the other hand, over the same month of last year, there was a breakthrough of 18.4% in confidence in the sector, to 95.7 points, the seventh consecutive positive rate. In January 2017 review before January 2016, consumer confidence increased 45.2% to 58.5 points. In the sub-index that measures expectations for the future grew 18.3% before January 2016, to 142.8 points. In comparison with December, there was a reduction of 1.4%.
