Brazilian retail 4.8% Retracts in 2016

According to data from the Index Expanded retail Cielo (ICVA), the Brazilian retail trade turnover fell in December compared to the previous year, contributing to the sector closed the year 2016 with retraction of 4.8%. Retail revenue in the country in December was 3.9% drop compared with 3.6% in November, also compared to the previous year. In the last month of 2016, all regions of the country showed a fall in turnover of retail: Southwest and Midwest had retraction of 4.1%, North 4%, 3.5% and South-East 2%.
