Sales in super and hypermarkets have fall of 0.4% in June

In June, in the series with seasonal adjustment, supermarkets and hypermarkets showed a 0.4% drop in the volume of sales in June compared with the previous month. Compared to June 2015, the fall is a little bigger, -2.6%. And in 12 months, the cumulative index is in% -3.4. The data were released today (9/8) by IBGE (Brazilian Institute of geography and statistics).
On the other hand, the general retail trade showed positive variations 0.1% by volume of sales in June in comparison to May this year. Already over the same month of last year, there were -5.3% drop.
