Restoque and Inbrands close merger negotiation without agreement

Fashion retail networks of high standard Restoque and Inbrands announced yesterday that ended without agreement talks for a merger that could create one of the largest companies in the country.
The discussions were closed as "not been reached mutually accepted between the parties," the companies said in a statement set the market. The companies released the requirements for business continuity.
The companies were informed in early June preliminary agreement to start negotiations, which aimed to bring the groups "a series of synergy gains", in addition to diversifying the profile of customers.
In 2015, the gross revenues from sales of Restoque was 1.67 billion reais, while the InBrands was 1.15 billion reais. The Restoque, which has among the brands Le Lis Blanc, Dudalina and Rosa Cha, had 328 stores and 24 franchises. Meanwhile, Inbrands had 197 stores and 178 franchises with brands such as Ellus, Richards and Alexandre Herchcovitch.
