Quilmes brewery will invest $ 1.8 bi in Argentina until 2020

Buenos Aires-the Quilmes brewery will invest about of 1.81 billion dollars in Argentina from 2016 to 2020 to develop and expand production plants of beer and soft drinks in the country, the Government reported on Tuesday.
The company, controlled by AB InBev group, also will seek to install a desalcoolizadora plant and expand its agricultural business of planting of barley and hops.
"The Quilmes continues betting heavily in the country with their investments, both in infrastructure in our breweries and soft drink factories, as in launching new products on the market," said Marcio Froes after the meeting, the Government said in a statement.
The administration of President Mauricio Macri took over the country in December and since then comes by applying measures of liberal bias in the economy to encourage investment and rekindle the activity stopped for years, but the capital is taking longer than expected to arrive.
