Brazilian consumer confidence Rises

According to figures released on Wednesday (24) from Fundação Getulio Vargas, Brazil''s consumer confidence rose for the fourth month followed in August and reached the highest level in more than 1 year and a half, with the improvement of the feeling with the current situation. The consumer confidence index (CCI) rose 2.6 points in August compared to the previous month, reaching 79.3 points, highest reading since January 2015 (81.2 points). The highlight in the month was high of 3.8 points in the Current Situation index (ISA), reaching 69.5 points. In June, the ISA had come to the historical minimum of research. The Expectations index (IE) rose 1.6 points, reaching 86.9 points, highest level since December 2014.
