61% of consumers use smartphones for online shopping

Adaptive study conducted by Accenture Retail with more than 770 Brazilian consumers and retailers in the country, 19 confirms an increasing trend of use of smartphone shopping online. The device is the interface between the digital world and the physical, which allows companies to provide a complete customer experience.
The survey says that 61% of consumers used smartphones more often last year to find what they wanted; 44% expect to acquire more products via smartphones this year and 63% consider easy to buy with the appliance. On the other hand, only 31% of retailers have for mobile applications with ability to execute purchases.
In General, according to the survey, consumers are requesting more of their smartphones while buy in physical stores: 56% would like to receive promotions in real time, being willing to provide personal information to it; 47% want or already have the ability to use coupons and discounts to buy and 39% of buyers prefer to pay via mobile phone. Nevertheless, none of the 19 Brazilian retailers surveyed have these abilities or offers these benefits.
Recovery the convenience is also evident in the study, 25% of consumers would like to be able to buy online products that are unavailable in the physical store; 52% think to check product availability online before you go to the store would improve much the shopping experience and 23% cited the ability to make a request for an item that is not in stock in the stores as an important part of this experience.
