The internet price index falls 0.69% in June compared with may, says Ibevar

SAO PAULO-the internet price index, known as e-flation and calculated by the Brazilian Institute of Retail executives and Consumer Market (Ibevar), in partnership with the Retail Management program (Prove), 0.69% in crash had June against may. It is the biggest pullback since August 2015. The result earned in 12 months, inflation stood at 13.16%. In the first six months of this year, the accumulated high is 7.42%.
Of the ten categories surveyed, five fell in June, on the shore. The biggest fall was in Books (5.38%), followed by Appliances (3.37%), toys (2.18%), computers (1.53%) and telephony and cell phones (0.39%). The high were on CDs and DVDs (8.97%), Medicines (4.12%), Perfumes and cosmetics (2.03%), photos (0.60%) and electronics (0.33%).
E-flation was created in 2004 with the aim of monitoring the variation in the prices of consumer products purchased through e-commerce. For calculation of weights for each category, are used data issued by the company e-bit.
