Chocolate sector Registers Stability

According to a survey conducted by ABICAB (Brazilian Association of the Industry of Chocolates, cocoa, peanuts, hard candies and derivatives), after a period of decline, the chocolate sector registers stability in the first quarter. The industries produced 128,300 tons from January to March 2016. In the same period last year, the volume was 129,000 tons. "Stability is an important step for the sector before the scenario that we are facing, but the recovery still industries requires many efforts, since there is the impact of the increase of various inputs and the demand is still smaller than would be normal," says Dan Fonseca ABICAB,.
