Bemis creates area of research and development for Latin America

The Bemis, one of the largest manufacturers of packaging in the world, has developed a specific area for research and development in Latin America. The Executive Priscilla Troian, Bemis since 1999, takes over as Director of the area and will be responsible for the Flexible and rigid divisions to Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.
The Division was created with the goal of developing new platforms and innovative products to optimize the packaging production with technologies that can reduce product waste, extend its shelf life and enhance their conservation.
Priscilla Troian is graduated in chemical engineering from the Federal University of Paraná, has a graduate degree in business and Industrial Management and MBA in business administration. In Bemis has starred in the lead in the area of quality and occupied the position of Manager of research and development for the Rigid Division in Brazil.
"My main challenge to take on this new area is driving the creation of differentiated technological platforms for innovative products, ensuring long-term competitive advantage, both for current and for emerging markets", says the Executive.
