Result of March does CNC review down forecast for 2016

The fall of 0.9% in the volume of retail sales in March compared with February, restricted the worst result for the month since 2003, led the National Confederation of Commerce (CNC) to review further down the result of industry in 2016, 4.6% drop to 4.8 percent retreat.
If confirmed the predictions, will be the year with the worst trade performance since 2001, start of the historical series of Monthly Trade Survey (PMC).
In a statement, CNC reported that, for retail expanded, including the automotive and construction materials, the Confederacy maintained the forecast of 8.8% at the end of the year.
"Despite the loss of strength in inflation and its favorable impact on sales volume, the continued rise of credit and confidence shaken consumer and business people led to the CNC reinforce the expectation that 2016 will be the worst year of the retail sector since the beginning of the PMC, in 2001," said the text.
