Cielo: sales are 5.2% drop in April

Brazilian retail sales, discounted for inflation, retreated 5.2 percent in April over the same month of last year, second index released by the means of payment Cielo.
The indicator is in negative terrain since August last year, when he showed retraction of 2.8% over the same month of the previous year. In March, the retraction about a year before had been of 5.8%. According to the company, considering the large blocks of sectors that make up the expanded retail, the service was the only one who presented acceleration in April, driven mainly by tourism and transportation and meals at bars and restaurants.
