Capsule coffee market should grow

The Abic (Brazilian coffee industry Association) sponsored extensive research on trends of the coffee market. The survey pointed out that the market in Brazil capsules must register a growth of 100% in the period from 2014 to 2019, consuming 12 1000 tons of coffee and moving more R$ 2.2 billion. Today this segment corresponds to 0.6% of the total volume consumed in Brazil, which represents around 980 1000 tons. Until 2019, the capsules should reach 1.1% of consumption, i.e. an average annual growth of 15.3%
