Zero tube: a roll of toilet paper without cartridge

Have you ever wondered what happens to the cardboard tubes from toilet paper roll? Is, without doubt, one of the products easier to recycle, when discarded in the appropriate containers. But there is something even better than recycling of waste: do not produce any. Solid Plus technology, the Sofidel introduced a new product on the Italian market: the first roll of toilet paper without cartridge and that uses this internal space to put more toilet paper. The product arrived on the shelves of supermarkets under the brand Coop Zero tube.
The BIG RETAIL CHAIN ITALIAN FMGC MARKET, composed by a group of consumer cooperatives (Coop), is traditionally attentive to customer needs and respect for the environment. Following his philosophy and putting the points a-m as core values, Coop decides to embark on a new challenge with the launch of Zero tube. And, so, the traditional roll as we know it for years now comes with a built-in minirrolo, wrapped in paper, located where once there was just an empty space.
INNOVATION IS CERTAINLY THE WORD THAT BEST DESCRIBES THE ZERO TUBE. The internal minirrolo is useful to 1000 ways. It can be removed and taken with you inside the bag; It is convenient to have it on hand for children or keep it in the car when travelling. It''s small enough to easily fit in any purse, handy when the tissue is needed. Another key feature of Zero tube is its softness, guaranteed by the embossing of square mesh.
AND WHAT TO SAY ABOUT ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION? In addition to not having the support tube of cardboard, what are your other green benefits? Well, considering the same volume, a much larger amount of paper can be transported. The package found on supermarket shelves is composed of six rolls: each roll "normal" has 500 leaves beyond the additional 50 minirrolo leaves, resulting in a total of 550 sheets per roll and 3,300 sheets per package. Practically, each package contains one extra roll. Annual savings is estimated at around 25 tons of paper, due to the absence of support tube.
The COOP is ALSO PROPOSING the ZERO in the PIPE ROLLS of KITCHEN TOWEL for CONSUMERS, a roll containing 300 leaves that is compact – completely without cartridge. And this generates an annual savings of about 8 tons of paper. With Zero no Tube is wasted, not even the space!
